Discussion Points

• Possibility of combined X’mas function with Motorcycle Sportsmen – date to be advised.
• Need for QEMSC to be better prepared for running the race meetings after some outsde advice on the July Stanthorpe meeting..
• Damien Croston presented Power Plus race fuels, now available in Qld (Brendale).
• Discussion of Stanthorpe race meeting from competitors viewpoints. We need to try & encourage more riders with “bikes in sheds” to get them out. David Vincent has had discussed with MQ about a combined class, like F3 to encourage a few more “cross-over competitors” at historic events.
• Discussion of QEMSC presence at Aust Historic Champs, next month.
• Ian Milton mentioned that the proposed meeting at Lakeside the week after the Champs seems slow getting off the ground.
• Report on Laverda Concourse presence of M/C Sportsment & QEMSC members.
• MotoGiro d’Australia on 18th – 21st Sept. from Woodford.
• Report on the last Historic Sub Committee meeting.- mention of Gycol & P4 Carb (Pumpers of Era allowed but NOT later powerjets).
  Mention of the fact that there are 47 unknown log booked machines belonging to members. QEMSC to cover postage for contacting owners.
• .Discussion by members of being contacted by Qld Transport re older LAMS approved motorcycles under new regulations.
• Future Historic Meetings:
• HRMAV’s Southern Classic 2009 When: 24th & 25th October. Entries close 25th Sept.
• Australian Motorcycle News International Island Classic- When: 23-25 January, 2009
