- Rough idea of number of riders requiring Day Licences for Stanthorpe meeting before procurement from MQ.
- Concerns of security of information contained in Historic Log books.
- Mt Cootha Classic to go ahead next year. All involved said they would like more motorcycle involvement.
- The M/C Sportsmen are running a "coaching" day at Morgan Park. 19th July. $150 for the day.. Great practice opportunity for the Australian Titles in Sept. Recreational licences available.
- Query from webmaster regarding selling ad space on the QEMSC website - mainly at this stage to recoup his expenses for setting up & maintaining the site. Pres mentioned that all income would need to be accounted for with Most agreed that there should be compensation for any cost involved in setting up & maintaining the website. Proposal required from DV.
- QWEMSC involvement in Laverda Club concorse. Help needed to promote Historic titles.
- QEMSC involvement invited for the "Lakeside Classic Speed Fest" on 19 and 20 September. Bikes up to P4 invited.
- Historic Champs – discussions on progress by M/C Sportsmen. PR disseminated, call for volunteers to help. Oil control issue raised.
- Report from president & Treasurer from Historic Forum in Sydney.
Communication on historic issues seems to be missing from MA priorities.
Log books – lack of progress & direction.
P4 Carby pumper carby issue. Gene received confirmation they were legal.
Engine sidecover rule does not apply to “Historics”.
Promotion – what are MA doing for Historic road racing?
Lack of communication between MA & clubs – We need to talk to MQ about going direct to MA regarding historic matters.
