Tony Eelkema’s email re Future of historic road racing. He expressed the need to promote P5 more to encourage more bikes at Historic events.
Tony Jacobs commented that P5 was always catered for in QEMSC run race meetings.

Investment acct is due for renewal.  Treasurer asked for thoughts on options available.

Damien Kavney has organised a truck to take bikes to Phillip Isl Classic, 2010 @ about $300 ea.  – It will make the trip very easy for those limited in available time. Has several interested but there is still room for more.

Action Point: November Drag race meeting Rob Walker passed on that he hadn’t heard from Warwick Drag Racing Club. Doubts if it will happen, this year.  Will follow up.

• Christmas function - combined with M/C Sportsmen, on Sat 21st. at Nudgee track clubrooms. Leo Cash confirmed that QEMSC members were welcomed & could do their awards presentations.
• Leo Cash & Sheralyn McGlinchy announced M/C Sportsmen’s plans for a May 2010 Bears & Historic meeting at Warwick – possible the Qld Historic Champs. Also planning on a Warwick Challenge Cup in February with “bracket racing”.  QRRChamps in Jun & October & 3 rounds of “Southern Downs” Championships.
• There will NOT be a QEMSC meeting in January 09
• Ian Milton suggested a Pizza nite before the next Club meeting as a X’mas “break up”.
• QEMSC Future Historic Meetings?
  Discussion of possibility of QEMSC running more race meetings. Secretary to chase up Rob Brown President of Warwick Car Club. There was a suggestion that M/C Sportsmen may not want their Stanthorpe “Motard” date.
