General Business

 

Queensland competitors at the 2008 Australian Historic Road Race Championships should be congratulated on a creditable performances.  Notable were Lindsay Donai and Christine Menzies the new Australian P4 Sidecar Champions and runners up Ron Bennett and Daryl Skewes, overall third to James Barclay in P5 Ultra lightweight and a overall sixth place to Bruce Marsden in the P3 Senior class.  Other competitors were Bert Skuce and Leo Cash, unfortunately mechanical woes kept them off the rostrum.

 

Action Items - QHSC 37,

 

It was noted at the meeting that a committee member who no longer holds a competition licence and now holds an entrant licence, did not receive a 2008 copy of the MOM.  As an entrant often is involved in preparing bikes it would be useful to have a copy of the current eligibility criteria.

 

Action – MQ to confirm if MOMs are usually issued to holders of entrant licences.
